Thursday, February 19th 5:30pm - 8:00pm Happy Valley Library Community Room B 13793 SE Sieben Park Way, Happy Valley OR 97015 Ages 14+ Cost: $60 per student **NOTE: You must register via the Happy Valley Library website: https://bit.ly/3NPpYrw Celebrate creativity, community, and a little Happy Valley magic in this special fused glass workshop inspired by the Find Your Heart in Happy Valley Treasure Hunt. In this relaxed, hands-on class, you’ll design and create a beautiful 6-inch fused glass heart, perfect to hang in a window, gift to someone special, or keep as a reminder of your own heart-finding adventure around town. Whether you participated in the treasure hunt or are simply drawn to the theme, this class is a lovely way to slow down and make something meaningful. You’ll learn the basics of glass cutting, layering, and design while playing with colorful glass pieces, frit, and stringers. No experience is needed. Just bring your curiosity and creative spirit. Your finished heart will be kiln-fired after class and ready for pickup at Happy Valley City Hall at a later date. Great for ages 14 and up. Happy Valley Parks and Recreation (HVPR) Cancellation/Refund Policy: If the City of Happy Valley Parks & Recreation (HVPR) cancels a class, activity, or event, a full refund is issued to each participant. If a program partner cancels a class, activity, or event, a full refund is issued to each participant. If HVPR is notified three days before the first day of class, activity, or event, a refund will be given less a $5 processing fee. If notified within three (3) days of a class, activity, or event, no refund will be given. Exceptions to the refund policy may be made at staff's discretion depending upon extenuating circumstances. All Parks and Recreation classes, camps, and special events are subject to space availability. Most programs require a minimum number of participants to proceed. If the minimum enrollment requirement is not met, the class or activity may be canceled. In this case, a refund will be provided, or credit will be given toward another program.
